Attention Humans! This is HENGE.

We are not from this world.

We bring you music from distant planets.

We offer this gift for the edification of humankind… so that eventually your species may put an end to war and set up new homes in space.

Extra-terrestrial joymongers – HENGE – have been delighting audiences in the UK and Europe since they landed on Planet Earth nine years ago. Their scintillating live performances earned them ‘Best Live Act’ at the Independent Festival Awards and they have since cemented their reputation with three acclaimed albums, numerous tours and regular main-stage festival appearances.

Their music escapes definition, but occupies a space between rave and prog rock that nobody knew existed. It is energetic, subversive and invigoratingly playful, jovially going ‘where no one has gone before’. Ultimately, HENGE are spreading a message of hope which leaves audiences feeling amused and uplifted in equal measures.

Tirikilatops

Tirikilatops is a collaboration between UK and S. Korean artists and musicians located in the UK. A combination of kimchi beats, pop sensibilities, offbeat lyrics, dayglo colours, hacked keyboards, dada attitudes, forteana and super earworm melodies.

Tirikilatops has recently gigged in the UK, South Korea, Japan and the USA. Featured in The Guardian newspaper and on BBC Radio 6’s BBC Introducing Mixtape, and received airplay on BBC Radio 1 Huw Stephens show.

The last couple of years saw them becoming UK festival regulars playing Supersonic Festival, Supernormal Festival, Zandari Festival South Korea, Other Worlds Festival, Uk, Sounds from the other City Festival Uk (they were chosen by the NME as one of the top five bands “not to miss”), Beatherder Festival Uk, BBC Introducing live and many more.

In 2018 BBC Radio6 Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone invited Tirikilatops to compile an hour long Freak Zone playlist that aired Sept 2nd 2018.

Tirikilatops recent weekend of gigs for Supersonic festival sold out.

In March they were long listed for the Glastonbury Festival emerging talent competition.

Before Covid hit 2020 saw them play Yaga festival, Lithuania, Papier Carbone festival Belgium and club dates in Dublin.

October 2021 saw the release of a coloured vinyl single “Every colour tomato” on Golden Lion Sounds records which made Piccadilly records “genre single of the week” and quickly sold out.

A long playing vinyl is scheduled for release on Golden Lion Sounds.
