The Darrell Smith Soul Revue

Following his stand out broadcast performance on ‘Northern Soul at the BBC Proms’, Darrell will debut this brand new show at The Grand. 

Joined by his incredible 8 piece band ‘The Soulphonics’, this show promises to be a celebratory evening of the best Soul music. Expect to hear new versions of selections of songs Darrell performed at the proms, a varied range of Northern Soul, Funk, Stax and Tamala Motown, as well as a smattering of Darrell’s Soul inspired self-penned compositions, with exclusive first plays at this concert. 

Darrell has also invited some very special guest vocalists to appear to wow you with soulful interpretations complementary to the genres. A guest DJ will heat up the dancefloor for what will be a memorable night from a local rising star!
